EMPLOYMENT PACKAGES

Your business requires employment documentation that is up to date, written in plain English and above all, appropriate for your business. We can work with you to draft and review your employment contracts and other documentation to ensure it is clear, protects your organisation and reduces the risk of dispute. We can also provide telephone support and training to complement your contracts and policies.

(All figures are expressed exclusive of VAT.)

1. For new companies: start-up company package

Or individual elements priced as follows:

  • Directors’ service agreement – £1,200
  • Junior/mid level employment contract – £750
  • 4 key policies (disciplinary, grievance, equal opportunities and anti-bribery) – £300 each, £1,200 in total

If you require all of the above we will agree an overall price with you.

2. For more established companies: contract and handbook review

  • £400 initial review and identification of key changes required

then either:

  • £1,750 full handbook; and
  • New directors’ service agreement – £1,200
  • Junior/mid level employment contract – £750

Or

  • Amendments to your existing contracts and handbook – on a case by case basis, to be discussed and agreed with you.

3. Practical training on employment law

A morning or afternoon training session to give senior managers/HR confidence in handling workplace issues. We can tailor this to your requirements and have previously covered topics such as diversity/equal opportunities, redundancies, poor performance and sickness absence.

Usual price for the session is £2,000.

If purchased with package (1) or (2) above the cost is £1,500

4. Other employment-related documents:

  • Employment guides to handling performance management, redundancies, sickness

management, grievances and disciplinary matters – £750 per guide.

  • Consultancy agreement – £750 – £1,000
  • Settlement agreement – £500

5. Employment law telephone helpline – price depending on your individual requirements.

6. Employment protection insurance – We have contacts with a third party insurer which can provide insurance to protect your business from the risk of claims by employees. The cost of the insurance premium depends, amongst other things, on the size of the payroll. It is a condition of taking out the insurance that we carry out an initial review of your policies and procedures and that you follow our advice in handling any claim received.

7. Support from our trusted advisers – We work with a number of other professionals to provide a broader range of products to support your business. This means that we can also offer:

  • Review or drafting of shareholders’ agreement and articles
  • Review or drafting of partnership deeds
  • Share option schemes or other incentive arrangements
