Daniel Stander - Solicitor
I provide advice to clients in respect of both contentious and non-contentious matters. My areas of experience include drafting and negotiating settlement agreements on behalf of individuals and acting for clients on a range of Employment Tribunal matters including but not limited to unfair dismissal, discrimination and whistleblowing claims.
I also provide commercial advice to businesses on managing a full range of employee related issues, including the drafting of internal policies and procedures as well as employment contracts. I also advise on grievances, disciplinary matters and general day-to-day employment issues.
My approach is to work with my clients to explain the process clearly in a supportive and personable manner. I always look to provide tailored advice to meet my client’s needs.
I am a member of the Employment Lawyers Association.
Assisting over 100 individuals being provided with settlement agreements as part of a large reorganisation in a magic circle law firm.
Achieving a five-figure settlement and advising on the contents of a COT3 agreement for a claimant in a complex disability discrimination claim against a local authority.
Advising a car repair business in restraining an ex-employee from breaching restrictive covenants.
Assisting corporate retainer client in drafting employment contracts, advising and preparing letters as to disciplinary, performance, and general HR matters.
I advise clients across a wide range of sectors including retail, education, healthcare and finance.
Outside of work
I enjoy reading, cinema, and am a keen cook, with Keith Floyd as my inspiration.
